E.T. 101: The Cosmic Instruction Manual: An Emergency Remedial Edition by Diana Luppi Average Rating: "One of the best days of my life was the day in 1993 when I "accidentally" found this book. Since then, I've read it completely almost thirty times, and often use it as a reference manual and divination tool. It's one of the funniest serious books ever written. If you're reading this, then it's probably for you. ..."
The Keepers: An Alien Message for the Human Race by Jim Sparks Average Rating: "Jim Spark is a fascinating person to interview, and I have on tape his original discussion with Jeff Rense about his alien abductions back in 1998. All the events in the book presumably happened by 1998, since the book pretty much follows the line of that original interview with Jeff Rense back in 1998.
However, for me the book brings up more questions than answers. ..."
CONFRONTATIONS: A Scientist's Search for Alien Contact by Jacques Vallee Average Rating: "Now retired from the UFO scene, Jacques Vallee was one of the most sober, perceptive, and scientifically astute observers of the phenomenon. "Confrontations" is the second volume of his great trilogy ("Dimensions" and "Revelations" are the other two) which summed up his 40-odd years of research.
As the title suggests, this book focuses on the dangers - physical, psychological, and even spiritual - of contact (intentional or otherwise) between human beings and the energy forms known as UFOs. ..."
Alien Intrusion by Gary Bates Average Rating: "The first 75% of this book is a very good overview of the entire modern topic of UFOs and Aliens. It is a good overview, from a skeptical point of view. It debunks all of the major UFO/Alien stories.
It also shows us that, unfortunately, some UFO followers treat their belief in UFOs as a substitute religion, (while they accuse the Bible of promoting a false religion which UFOs debunk, "Hail Bopp").
What makes this book unique is the last 25% of the book, where we finally get to the author's point: the phenomena known as UFOs and Alien Abductions can be explained from a Biblical point of view, and exposed as tricks of the devil. ..."
The Science Of Aliens by Clifford Pickover Average Rating: "This book finds polymath Clifford Pickover at nearly the top of his game. This is a wide-ranging exploration of alien-related topics from science and popular culture. The book is organized into 9 chapters, each dealing with a different aspect of "alien-ness".Liberal use of material from science fiction literature (including Pickover's own SF books) provide a good contrast to the hard science also on display here. ..."
The Broken Bible: Picking Up The Extraterrestrial Pieces by John E Chitty Average Rating: "Don't let the size of this book fool ya! Once you start turning the pages you will be fascinated by this interesting, open, can-this-possibly-be-real? research by author, John Chitty. An interpretation of the Old Testament in a way that I had never imagined it before. You will be drawn in, you will have questions, you will wonder are we ready for the time of our visitation? ..."
DIMENSIONS: A Casebook of Alien Contact by Jacques Vallee Average Rating: "This book deals with the concept of alternate realities and other dimensions. It also shows how this seems to explain the simularity between the reports of "gods" and faery folk in the past, with reports of UFO's and their occupants in the present. It is interesting that Vallee (who was the model for the French scientist in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind") doesn't see UFO's as extraterrestrial visitors. ..."
Above Top Secret: The Worldwide U.F.O. Cover-Up by Timothy Good Average Rating: "All of those who entertain the concept of a world wide UFO cover-up really owe something to Timothy Good. In this one of a kind book Good goes through files from the United States, Canada, all over Europe and the very contreversial MJ-12 documents to show that governments all around the world are secretly investigating unidentified flying objects and hiding the truth. ..."
Beyond My Wildest Dreams: Diary of a UFO Abductee by Kim Carlsberg Average Rating: Beyond My Wildest Dreams poignantly captures the range of emotion--from fear to exhilaration--inherent in the UFO abduction phenomenon. Correlating uncannily with the experiences of other contactees worldwide, Carlsberg's thoughtful and committed inquiry into the meaning of the UFO abduction phenomenon is a catalyst for a deep journey within the human psyche. ...
