Blackfoot Physics: A Journey Into The Native American Universe by F. David Peat Average Rating: "It takes a while to get into this book because the first chapter is a bit boring (needs some serious editing, in fact). But once past that hurdle, there's not a dull moment. While one might take issue with the author's apparent attitude that the Native American version of science is superior to that of the Western world's, there's no doubt that the Western world has missed a lot of vital information about the nature of reality. ..."
Eyes of the Heart: Seeking a Path for the Poor in the Age of Globalization by Jean-Bertrand Aristide Average Rating: "Throughout the 20th century, communism and democratic capitalism provided the primary models for economic development. Between the two, dictatorships often flourished, plundering countries for the benefit of the few. At the end of the 20th century, the gap between the wealthiest and poorest countries seems to have grown.Aristide is the former elected president of Haiti, who was ousted by a coup d'etat in 1991. ..."
Egyptian Cosmology: The Animated Universe - Second Edition by Moustafa Gadalla Average Rating: "The Second Edition print of Egyptian Cosmology could almost be a new book by Moustafa Gadalla. The chapters and a majority of the contents has been updated in line with his recent research and other publications. To compare the two academically would be an injustice, the second edition stands strongly on its own right and the divergent material included only accentuates what was a puissant publication. ..."
After Life: Answers From the Other Side by John Edward Average Rating: "Well, I've read all of John's books, and this one was the least interesting, primarily because it contains almost nothing new. John indicates in his introduction that he considers this book to be "One Last Time, Part II," and indeed it reads more like a continuation of "One Last Time" than it does anything else. ..."
Science of Being in Twenty Seven Lessons by Eugene A. Fersen Average Rating: "The true source of this book has not yet been credited, and while yes, it is a great Wisdom, it is important to be authentic by crediting the Source from where this information came, which can be found as well as ALL the actual un-disturbed 27 lessons in their entirety in hard back 1st editions in The Fundamental Principles of Science Of Being, by the Authentic Lightbearer & Baron of Russia, Eugene Fersen, which IS copyrighted. ..."
Code Name God: The Spiritual Odyssey of a Man of Science by Mani Bhaumik Average Rating: "Spiritual autobiographies make for fascinating reading. I cannot think of another genre that I enjoy more.
Having observed that, I always have certain expectations about a spiritual autobiography. The author will have discovered faith from an epiphany. The content will be very revealing about the author and not nearly as revealing about anything else. ..."
God at the Speed of Light by T. Lee Baumann Average Rating: "The book is about the melding of science and spirituality. He argues for the belief that 'near death experiences' are for real. To get across his point he mentions Einstein's theory of relativity, quatum theory and other scientific evidences to prove his point. The speed of light plays a major part in all of this. ..."
One Last Hug Before I Go : The Mystery and Meaning of Deathbed Visions by Carla Wills-Brandon Average Rating: "If a spiritually-challenged friend or relative -- one who has difficulty believing in survival of consciousness at death -- indicates that he or she is ready to let a little light penetrate the ego, you might want to consider giving this book as a gift. It offers much food for thought.Evidence of survival comes to us in different ways -- near-death experiences, mediumship, past-life regression, and astral travel being the most often cited in recent years. ..."
