The Yowie: In Search of Australia's Bigfoot by Tony Healy Average Rating: "This is a very well written book about Australia's own version of the Bigfoot. Just like in North America this large unknown creature is often described as similar in appearance to the Sasquatch but more aggressive, and has been a part of Australian folklore and Aboriginal knowledge for centuries.
The creature whatever it is, remains elusive with no good quality photos or videos being available, such as the case with Sasquatch.
Added to the mystery is the shape of this creatures foot which seems to vary from 3, 4 or 5 toed. ..."
Genesis Revisited: Is Modern Science Catching Up With Ancient Knowledge? by Zecharia Sitchin Average Rating: "I am an amateur astronomer, so I was very interested as well as concerned when I first started to read this book. To start off, I agree with the premise we are not the only beings out there, (or even within our solar system). But, his knowledge of Ancient Sumerian does nothing for his astronomy. ..."
Atlantis and the Kingdom of the Neanderthals: 100,000 Years of Lost History by Colin Wilson Average Rating: "I loved the book, finished it in a day and a half. I think his basic theory about neanderthals having been the source of much of the knowledge of ancient civilization has a lot of merit.
HOWEVER, so much of the book seems to have little or nothing to do with any of this. ..."
Divine Encounters: A Guide to Visions, Angels, and Other Emissaries by Zecharia Sitchin Average Rating: "At the beginning of my quest for answers to the Universe, i found sitchin's books. they are all full of intriguing ideas and possible answers to the origins of humankind on earth. i see strong hints of his theories in X-Files and the Star Trek series. and i say this as a fan of these shows.readers, keep this in mind, sitchin's works DO NOT complete your search for answers to The Origins of Life or the Universe. ..."
The Mayan Prophecies : Unlocking the Secrets of a Lost Civilization by Adrian Gilbert Average Rating: "Starting off I knew nothing of native Central Americans. This book has taught me a lot about the Mayans, Aztecs, Olmecs, and Toltecs. If you have an interest in this subject, I say give the book a try.The main focus of the book is a prophecy the Mayans made about a worldwide catastrophe that is supposed to come about in 2012, what their basis for this prediction is, and if there's any scientific knowledge to back this prediction up. ..."
When Time Began: Book V of the Earth Chronicles by Zecharia Sitchin Average Rating: "Sitchin's expertise is in the linguistics of Sumer and the Middle East. In WHEN TIME BEGAN he focuses on Stonehenge offering interesting speculation on ancient astronomy. However, he fails to prove his case for extraterrestrial intervention. For a more enlightened examination of Stonehenge read John Michell's SECRETS OF THE STONES. ..."
The Lost Realms: Book IV of the Earth Chronicles by Zecharia Sitchin Average Rating: "The Lost Realms is one of the most speculative and interesting books in Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series. The ruins and structures of Egypt and the Near East have been wondered at and studied for centuries, and there is a veritable wealth of information from Near Eastern papyri, stelae, monuments, and similar artifacts. ..."
